Hatching Quail Eggs

Our hatching eggs come from healthy, young Japanese quails from our own breeding stock. We prevent inbreeding and carefully select parent pairs. Eggs are stored under ideal conditions, regularly turned, and shipped as fresh as possible.

Order

Hatching success depends on incubation conditions. With proper handling and fresh eggs, you can expect 75 - 85%. For shipped eggs, expect a lower rate due to vibrations during transport.

We ship our hatching eggs as fresh as possible. After receiving them, store at 14 - 18 °C, pointed end down. Turn them 2 - 3 times a day and incubate as soon as possible. Never store them in the refrigerator.

The recommended temperature is 37.7 °C with 40% humidity. During the last 3 days (from day 15), increase humidity to 65% and stop turning the eggs. Hatching occurs around day 17 - 18.

Each breeding group has 1 rooster per 4 hens, which ensures high fertility. Our fertility rate regularly exceeds 90%. We carefully select parent pairs and prevent inbreeding.

It depends on the color variant you choose. We offer 5 variants including our own Sparkly Pharaoh and Falb Fee lines. Offspring color matches the parents, though a small percentage of eggs may occasionally get mixed between variants.

Yes, we carefully pack the eggs and ship them via courier. After delivery, let them rest for a few hours pointed end down so the air cell can settle. Vibrations during transport can reduce hatchability to as low as 50%, since we have no control over how the package is handled. We therefore recommend ordering extra eggs when shipping.

We focus on quality, not quantity. Eggs come from healthy birds from our own breeding stock, fed GMO-free feed from local ingredients.
